The 4mm PLUS Premium Underlay is our top-tier foil-layered fan-fold board, offering a thickness of 4mm for ultimate sound absorption, strength, and thermal properties. It features a vapour-tight foil membrane with overlap and integrated tape to create a damp proof barrier beneath the floor. Laying Instructions: Fan-Fold Underlay
Surface Preparation
- Ensure the floor is clean, dry and dust free.
- Any loose floorboards and protruding nails should be hammered down.
- If the floor is damp, it must be isolated using a vapour tight polythene damp proof membrane.
